Job description

As an Allround Technician, you are responsible for the optimal performance of technical installations. You carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, solve technical faults, and perform inspection rounds to ensure that all systems continue to operate safely and efficiently.

You will also identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to practical solutions that increase reliability, safety, and operational performance. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues, external technicians, suppliers, and site management. You will help plan maintenance and improvement activities, make sure the right materials are available, and support external parties when technical work is being carried out on-site.

Your responsibilities include:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on technical installations.
• Troubleshooting faults and carrying out inspection rounds.
• Guiding and instructing external technicians and suppliers.
• Identifying and supporting improvement projects for installations and processes.
• Ordering materials and managing technical stock.
• Planning maintenance and improvement work together with site management.
• Working safely and contributing to a reliable technical environment.

What you bring

We are looking for a technician who enjoys practical, varied work and takes responsibility for keeping installations running. You are independent, communicative, and solution-oriented, but you also understand the importance of working together as a team.

You bring:

• A Red Seal qualification as a Millwright, Fitter, Electrician, or a similar technical trade.
• Experience with maintenance on industrial or process-related technical installations.
• Basic electrical knowledge and strong mechanical insight.
• A practical and proactive approach to troubleshooting and improvement.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues, suppliers, and external technicians.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Valid safety certifications, or the willingness to obtain the required Dutch equivalents.
• Forklift and/or aerial work platform certification is an advantage.
• Flexibility in your work approach, including willingness to support outside standard working hours when needed.
• Good English communication skills. Willingness to learn Dutch is important.

Through advanced anaerobic digestion and upgrading technologies, the organization produces green gas, electricity, and CO₂, operating as a mid-sized technical production facility within the circular economy and sustainable energy sector.
