Job description
As a Project Engineer, you manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- Translating client requirements into functional technical designs;
- Translating client requirements into functional technical designs;
- Managing project planning, progress, and budgets;
- Overseeing engineering, production, and assembly handovers;
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders;
- Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies;
- Supporting testing, installation, and commissioning;
- Ensuring smooth project delivery and aftersales handover.
What you bring
To succeed in this role, you combine strong technical insight with a structured and proactive approach to project management. You enjoy coordinating complex engineering projects, take ownership of your work, and know how to balance technical detail with planning and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in machine building or engineering projects;
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and automation;
- Experience with CAD tools such as Inventor or AutoCAD;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Structured, analytical, and solution-driven mindset;
- Fluent in English (Dutch is an advantage).
