Service Technician – Building Installations

- Base salary between €4.200 – €5.000 gross per month (based on experience)

Service Technician – Building Installations
As a Service Technician, you’ll handle a wide range of tasks to ensure smooth operation of HVAC and plumbing systems in complex facilities:
- Perform independent maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, drinking water installations, and heat pumps
- Order your own parts and materials for repair and service tasks
- Maintain frequent contact with customers, answering questions and scheduling interventions
- Diagnose and resolve malfunctions, including occasional emergency service (every 8 weeks, including evenings/weekends).
- Coordinate with the managing technician and engage subcontractors or colleagues when required for large or complex jobs
You will operate within a multidisciplinary contract team, including contract managers, coordinators, and other technicians, maintaining buildings with service contracts valued up to €400.000 annually.

To qualify for this role, you should have:
- A Red Seal Certificate as a Millwright or HVAC Technician (or equivalent trade)
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical building installation maintenance
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Willingness to rotate on-call for emergency services (1 week every 8 weeks)
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English – and motivated to learn Dutch
