Mechanical Technician – Building Installations

We are looking for a Mechanical Technician (Red Seal – Fitter or HVAC Technician) to join our client’s maintenance team in Den Helder. You’ll be working on various heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in one of the Netherlands’ most dynamic regions, while building a strong technical career abroad.

- Base salary between €4.200 – €5.000 gross per month (based on experience)

Mechanical Technician – Building Installations
Your responsibilities include:
- Participating in maintenance and replacement projects for HVAC and mechanical installations
- Collaborating with other technicians in multi-disciplinary teams (e.g. electrical and HVAC)
- Installing and optimizing heating and cooling systems in critical buildings
- Providing suggestions for improving designs and execution on the job
- Working on projects ranging from a few days to several weeks, with each location offering new technical challenges
You’ll operate in schools, hospitals, and public buildings—places where your work directly improves safety, comfort, and functionality
Who You Are
You’re hands-on, observant, and confident in taking responsibility for high-quality technical work. You value collaboration but are also comfortable working independently. In this role, initiative is highly valued—and so is your willingness to learn and grow.
We are looking for:
- A Red Seal qualification as Fitter, Millwright, HVAC Technician, or similar
- Strong knowledge of tools, parts, and materials used in mechanical installation work
- A driver’s license (Code B)
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical or building installation environments
- A flexible attitude and eagerness to work across various locations and systems
