Mechanical Engineer – Industrial Bakery Solutions

As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll take the lead in designing and improving bakery systems tailored to client-specific needs. No two projects are alike. From the initial idea to the final machine, you’ll bring mechanical components to life that help produce everything from loaves to croissants. Working within a dedicated engineering team, your tasks include:

• Creating 3D models and detailed mechanical designs using tools like Inventor or PTC Direct Modeling
• Collaborating across engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration
• Conducting calculations and feasibility analyses
• Identifying improvements for existing machines and implementing solutions
• Translating customer requirements into practical, manufacturable designs

Your curiosity and critical eye for detail allow you to challenge technical boundaries. You understand how to prioritize tasks and work independently, while always keeping quality and innovation at the forefront.

What you Bring

We’re looking for a mechanical thinker with a practical mind and passion for engineering excellence. You should have:

• A completed bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• Preferably, several years of experience in machine design or mechanical system development
• Familiarity with 3D CAD tools (e.g., Inventor, PTC Direct Modeling); training can be provided if needed
• A good command of English and Afrikaans
• A willingness to learn Dutch
