Job description
You will mainly be deployed at one of our client’s production sites, where you are responsible for resolving technical faults and preventing breakdowns through timely maintenance. The role is highly varied, with a wide range of electrical and instrumentation activities and technical challenges.
Your responsibilities include:
- Identifying and resolving complex faults in electrical and instrumentation installations within the factory. These may involve power distribution, electric motors, control valves, frequency drives, lighting, and related systems;
- Performing measurements such as flow, pressure, level, pH, dust, and temperature, including inspection, repair, and calibration of measurement and control equipment;
- Carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance on production lines and industrial machines, including filling and packaging equipment;
- Contributing to improvement projects by identifying opportunities to reduce failures and increase reliability and efficiency.

What you bring:
- A Red Seal Trade Certificate as an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician or equivalent qualification;
- Relevant work experience;
- Hands-on experience with electrical and instrumentation installations in an industrial environment;
- The ability to diagnose and resolve faults independently and perform both preventive and corrective maintenance;
- A motivated attitude and willingness to keep developing your technical skills on the job;
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans, with a readiness to learn Dutch.
